Ketchum reports that in 2007, nearly 66 million adults have shared reviews and advice about
products and services.

And, 27 million will “exert influence” online, but less than a quarter (24 percent) of communicators
have a word-of-mouth strategy in place.

Don’t overlook WOM in your budget and plans.  Make an effort to execute a WOM plan in the second half of the year.
